Job summary

Solaris Health Holdings LLC is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to provide exceptional patient service at the front desk and over the phone. You will help with intake, scheduling, registration, and insurance verification to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires 1–3 years of customer service in a medical setting, and familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding is a plus. High school diploma required; some college preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR navigation.
• Knowledge of healthcare systems operations and CPT/ICD-10 familiarity preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person or by phone; provide courteous service.
• Register new patients and update demographics with accuracy.
• Collect co-pays, balances, and payments while maintaining confidentiality.
• Obtain referrals and authorizations as needed.
• Scan and file medical records and documents to patient charts.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits; notify providers of arrivals.
• Respond to patient inquiries and manage requests professionally.
• Maintain front desk organization and supply levels; monitor office equipment.
• Ensure PHI security and proper handoffs to clinical staff.
• Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS guidelines.
