Responsibilities

• Acts as resource to patient services staff, guiding on complex issues.
• Welcomes and greets patients and visitors, in person or over the phone.
• Registers new patients and updates demographics, collects personal and financial information.
• Collects outstanding patient balances and helps with billing coordination.
• Obtains referrals and authorizations when required.
• Scans documents into patient chart and manages records.
• Notifies providers of patient arrivals and maintains smooth patient flow.
• Schedules follow-up services and visits, including surgeries and imaging as needed.
• Responds to inquiries politely and professionally.
