Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Basic CPT/ICD-10 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet patients/visitors.
• Register new patients and update demographics; collect personal and financial information.
• Collect outstanding balances and co-pays; ensure accuracy of billing information.
• Obtain referrals and authorizations as required.
• Scan documents and maintain patient charts; support intake-to-checkout flow.
• Schedule follow-up services, surgeries, imaging, and other visits.
• Protect patient confidentiality and PHI; ensure proper handoffs.
