Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Outpatient Registration Specialist for the REA Farms location in Charlotte, NC. The role handles patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling and payments, with a schedule of 8-5 and a pay range of $19.80–$29.70 per hour.

The facility is moving to the new Rea Farms location on 9/14/26 at 11415 Golf Links Dr., Charlotte, NC 28277. Advocate Health emphasizes exceptional patient experience, strong teamwork, and adherence to healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer relations experience required.
• Experience with Medical Records Software preferred.
• Front desk practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide caring customer service to create an excellent patient experience.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families in sensitive situations.
• Show critical thinking and decisive judgment in fast-paced environments; work in teams or independently.
• Manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, payments, and desk activities.
• Encourage patient use of front-end technology during registration.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient information including insurance and billing.
• Assist billing and direct to appropriate billing office.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency codes and healthcare regulations.
• Monitor inventory and stock medications and emergency equipment.
