Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, seeks a part-time Outpatient Rehabilitation front desk associate. You will handle patient registration, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and assist billing while maintaining confidential records.

Must have strong customer service and computer skills; prior front desk experience and healthcare familiarity are preferred. The role requires flexibility to work typical business hours in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer relations experience required.
• Experience with Medical Records Software preferred, Front desk practice experience preferred.

• Enters and maintains confidential patient information throughout patient encounter; assists billing functions.
• Demonstrates proficiency of emergency codes and applicable regulations.
• Monitors inventory and stock medications, narcotics, and emergency medications/equipment.
