Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative in Wake Forest Davie NC to greet patients, verify eligibility, and complete registrations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient access (scheduling, registration and financial clearance) preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, HIPAA, EMTALA rules and updates on insurance pre-certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and manages patient flow for efficient service.
• Verifies and updates patient demographic and insurance information.
• Completes registration for walk-in patients and explains financial obligations.
• Verifies insurance benefits and collects patient liability, including past balances.
• Adheres to Financial Clearance policies and refers financial assistance when needed.
• Documents and communicates with management about service improvements.
