Qualifications

• Education must meet requirements; associates preferred.
• Experience in medical front desk preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance processes.
• Ability to handle patient data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner; ensure smooth patient flow.
• Obtains registration data, insurance information, and photo ID.
• Enter patient data accurately into the computer system.
• Verifies insurance; collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Balances daily charges and safeguards payments.
• Assist with scheduling referrals and coordinating with providers.
• Keep lobby clean and stocked with necessary items.
• Support other staff in a positive, team-centered manner.
