Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a patient service specialist to handle front desk operations, greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and ensure data integrity. You will manage registration data, drive a smooth patient flow, and safeguard confidentiality in a busy clinic.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of medical office experience, and knowledge of medical coding and billing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a current BLS certification.
• 1–3 years medical office experience preferred.
• Understanding of medical coding and billing; knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner and informs them of delays.
• Obtains registration data, insurance information, and photo ID at each encounter.
• Promptly and accurately enters patient data into the computer system.
• Verifies insurance and collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
• Follows HIPAA guidelines and maintains confidentiality of patient, staff, and physician information.
• Balances daily charges and safeguards money received.
• Manages patient charts and coordinates referrals; assists with scheduling provider referrals.
• Keeps lobby clean and stocked; supports staff in a team-centered manner.
