Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and math skills for processing co-pays.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families, respond to questions, and maintain positive relationships.
• Perform point-of-service duties including visit preparation and co-pay collection.
• Schedule patient visits or diagnostic testing.
• Manage third-party payors and collection of co-pays.
• Handle routine clerical tasks (faxing, copying, filing, mailings, calls).
• Maintain front desk inventory and communicate needs to staff.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and department appearance.
• Provide cross-coverage support as needed.
