Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers via inbound and outbound calls, including dialer-generated calls
• Assesses customer need for additional products/services
• Assesses customer compliance with physician orders
• Provides customer education regarding products/services
• Documents calls in a computerized record keeping system
• Enters customer orders in a computerized system
• Verifies and updates demographic information in records
• Reads and analyzes patient orders
• Understands pharmacy prescription terminology
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and patients
• Assists with employee training
• Calculates figures for frequency and doses dispensed
• Follows oral and written instructions
