Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience in a large complex healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of third party payors including federal, state, and private health plans.
• Ability to work across multiple systems during calls.
• Ability to work in an interactive environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at front desk across OB/GYN, multispecialty and primary care clinics.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes and schedule appointments at clinic and other locations.
• Verify insurance, authorizations and collect copays when due.
• Update patient demographics and maintain accurate records.
• Audit billing documents and document appointment dispositions.
• Handle petty cash drawer and related clerical tasks.
