United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) is seeking a Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Coordinator) to greet patients, verify insurance, collect forms, process payments, and schedule appointments at our Illinois clinics.

The role requires 2+ years in medical assisting or administration, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with ECW a plus. You will thrive in a fast‑paced environment while upholding HIPAA and UVVC standards.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years’ experience in medical assisting or administration.
• Familiarity with ECW a plus.
• Ability to handle a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data.
• Provide patients with intake and new patient forms, as well as copies of office policies and legally required documents.
• Process payments from patients for co‑pays and uninsured visits.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on provided schedule guidelines.
• Maintain hard copy patient records and EMR system files.
• Audit schedule to ensure patient insurance eligibility.
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Demonstrate UVVC’s Core Values and Standards of Conduct.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of PHI per HIPAA and UVVC policies.
