Job summary

You will support EMR operations, verify insurance eligibility, and uphold UVVC’s core values in daily interactions with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical assisting or administration.
• Familiarity with ECW is a plus.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, sign them in and obtain insurance information.
• Provide intake forms and copies of office policies and documents.
• Process payments for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients.
• Maintain hard copy records and EMR data.
• Audit schedule for insurance eligibility.
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
