Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator II for our Central Scheduling Team at the Westmont location. You will deliver exceptional patient-centered service with accurate registration and optimal scheduling across multiple clinics.

Requirements include high school diploma (associates preferred), 3+ years in customer service, 1+ year in patient services, Epic EHR experience preferred, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience in customer service.
• Minimum 1 year in a patient services related role.
• Healthcare/medical office experience preferred.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors to IBJI with excellent customer service.
• Registration and data entry to facilitate scheduling and billing.
• Manage central scheduling across multiple clinics.
• Verify insurance and collect balances as needed.
• Answer phones and perform front desk duties.
• Assist in training staff and mentoring new employees.
