Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience in a customer service role (medical office experience is a plus).
• Minimum 1 year in a patient services related role.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.
• Knowledge in medical terminology preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with the highest quality customer service.
• Handle scheduling requests, collect patient balances, and communicate insurance benefits.
• Provide daily support to management and staff as needed.
• Manage heavy phone reception, scanning, emailing, faxing, and other clerical duties.
• Prepare paperwork to facilitate efficient operation and excellent customer service.
• Answer general inquiries and assist with appointment scheduling.
• Registration/pre-registration procedures and review of patient demographics and documents.
