Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator I for the Buffalo Grove and Highland Park physician offices. This role focuses on delivering excellent patient-centered service, accurate registration, optimal scheduling, and office support to help the practice run smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least a year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical office, and familiarity with EPIC EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in customer service (medical office preferred).
• EHR experience, Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming, professional demeanor.
• Coordinate scheduling and appointment logistics for multiple providers.
• Answer general inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
• Handle phone reception and patient triage as needed.
• Assist with registration/pre-registration and verify demographics and insurance.
• Review and collect patient documents; manage chart and records.
• Support insurance verification and referral management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized front desk area.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and meet office goals.
