Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC seeks a Patient Services Coordinator I to deliver exceptional patient-centered service, manage registration, optimal scheduling, and front-office duties to support a great patient experience and a positive team atmosphere.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of customer service in a medical setting, and Epic experience preferred. Schedule is typically Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in a customer service role (medical office experience preferred).
• Epic experience preferred or familiarity with electronic health records systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with high-quality customer service.
• Prepare paperwork to facilitate efficient operation and excellent customer service.
• Answer general inquiries.
• Appointment scheduling.
• Phone reception, patient triage, and escalation to appropriate staff.
• Review patient demographics and insurance; advise on required documents.
• Check in/out procedures and patient chart management.
• Insurance verification and referral management as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturday as needed.
