Illinois Bone and Joint Institute LLC is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator I to deliver exceptional patient-centered service, manage registrations, and coordinate appointments. The role supports IBJI teams, ensuring accurate patient data, smooth scheduling, and a positive patient experience within a busy orthopedic setting.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in a medical office customer service role and familiarity with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a customer service role (medical office experience preferred).
• Epic EHR experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule to meet a changing scheduling environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with the highest quality service.
• Handle appointment scheduling and check-in/out processes.
• Complete registration and review patient demographics and insurance.
• Answer general inquiries and triage to appropriate staff.
• Maintain patient charts and process payments including copays/deductibles.
• Verify insurance and manage referrals as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
