Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator II to deliver outstanding patient-centered service, manage registrations, scheduling, and billing tasks across our network in Illinois. This role supports IBJI teams, mentors staff, and ensures efficient front-desk operations in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in customer service, healthcare experience preferred, familiarity with Epic, and a professional, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience in customer service role (medical office experience a plus).
• Minimum 1 year in a patient services related role preferred.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors to IBJI by providing the highest quality customer service.
• Answering general inquiries and appointment scheduling.
• Phone reception, patient triage, and escalation as needed.
• Registration/pre-registration including demographic and insurance review.
• Manage patient balances and insurance referrals as required.
