Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients/guests in person or by phone with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Register patients, schedule appointments, and post charges using the computer system.
• Direct calls to appropriate staff and departments with minimal transfers.
• Document thoroughly and accurately following legal guidelines and policies.
• Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm appointments per protocols; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Handle cash drawer and balance cash receipts; perform cashier duties.
• Maintain patient charts and assist with chart prep for surgical scheduling as needed.
