The South Bend Clinic is seeking a Patient Service Representative for the Pediatrics team in South Bend, IN. This full-time role supports front-desk operations, patient registration, and appointment scheduling in a physician-led care setting.

You will greet patients, handle phone inquiries, and perform cashier duties while ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate chart maintenance. Strong customer service and computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes patients/guests in person and/or on the phone in a professional, respectful, confidential manner.
• Registers patients and schedules appointments using the computer system.
• Directs calls to appropriate staff and service areas with minimal transfers.
• Documents accurately and follows HIPAA guidelines.
• Handles cashier functions and balances the cash drawer.
• Maintains chart order and prepares new patient charts.
• Coordinates with Business Office staff for billing information.
