Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC seeks a Patient Services Coordinator II to deliver outstanding patient-centered service in our Arlington Heights North Physical Therapy team. You will handle registration, scheduling, and front desk operations with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, collecting balances, mentoring new staff, and maintaining a welcoming, efficient office environment to support a positive patient experience and the IBJI mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience in customer service role required (medical office experience is a plus).
• Minimum 1 year in a patient services related role required.
• EHR experience with Epic experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors to IBJI by providing and maintaining the highest quality customer service experience.
• Face to face and over the phone patient contact as it relates to scheduling requests, collecting patient balances and communicating insurance benefits.
• Provide daily support to the management and staff as needed.
• Manage heavy phone reception, scanning/emailing, faxing, and other clerical duties.
• Appointment scheduling and registration/pre-registration procedures.
