Job summary

You will perform accurate registration, optimize scheduling, manage insurance verification, and support IBJI teams to enhance the patient experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year in a customer service role (medical office preferred), and familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year customer service experience; medical office experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to meet practice needs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with high-quality customer service.
• Prepare paperwork to facilitate efficient operation.
• Answer general inquiries and manage phone reception.
• Schedule appointments and handle registration/pre-registration.
• Verify insurance and manage referrals as required.
• Maintain patient charts and collect/post patient payments.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
