Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Associate to ensure a positive patient experience and maintain efficient front-office workflows.

You will greet patients, check them in/out, verify insurance, collect copays, and coordinate appointments with the care team. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a medical office setting, strong computer skills, and familiarity with billing requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of recent experience in a related medical office role preferred.
• Strong computer knowledge and office billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and assist patients at check-in and check-out with a professional, courteous manner.
• Register patients, verify demographics and insurance information, and collect copayments.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with providers; manage high-volume calls and messages.
• Verify eligibility, benefits, authorizations, and referrals for billing accuracy.
• Maintain daily clinic schedules and prepare charts for upcoming visits.
• Support HIPAA compliance and keep patient information confidential.
