Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Patient Services Associate to greet patients, check them in, collect copays and coordinate scheduling. You will verify insurance, support billing, and assist the care team to deliver high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years’ recent experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Experience in coding, office billing, insurance and government payer regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, verify demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments; communicate wait times and follow-ups.
• Handle copayments and balances; support billing and insurance verification.
• Maintain daily clinic schedule and prep charts; support communications between patients and providers.
• Provide compassionate customer service while ensuring HIPAA compliance and a clean, welcoming environment.
