Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Patient Services Associate to ensure an excellent patient experience and support front-office workflows in California. The PSA greets patients, checks them in, collects payments, and coordinates appointments as part of the care team.

You will verify insurance, update patient records, prepare daily schedules, and handle high-volume calls while assisting with billing and referrals, all while upholding HIPAA privacy and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of recent healthcare front-office experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and familiarity with medical terminology encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and check them in.
• Collect copayments and manage payments accurately.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
