Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Patient Services Associate to ensure a welcoming front desk experience and efficient clinic operations in Seattle. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and schedule follow-ups to support high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and coordinating communications among patients, providers, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2-3 years experience in a related medical office role preferred.
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients; collect copays and balances.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments; provide visit summaries or referrals.
• Verify insurance eligibility and updates; assist with pre-authorizations as required.
• Support front-office operations: faxing, scanning, and indexing to medical records.
• Provide compassionate customer service and ensure HIPAA compliance.
