Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of customer service experience.
• Healthcare experience and bilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests, verifies identity and explains visit requirements.
• Completes check-in and check-out functions as directed.
• Confirms and updates patient demographics and insurance information.
• Completes patient registrations as needed and obtains consents/authorizations.
• Collects co-payments and processes payments; posts payments and closes cash drawer.
• Keeps waiting area clean and comfortable; informs patients of delays or changes.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates with departments; may float to ICCs as needed.
