Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to deliver an exceptional patient and visitor experience from arrival through checkout. You will welcome and check in patients, collect co-pays, complete visit preparations, assist with kiosk use, and support scheduling, pre-registration and MyChart enrollment.

You will partner with physicians to ensure a smooth checkout process and support insurance verification and co-pay collection.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer-facing skills and ability to assist with scheduling, registrations and payments.
• Experience with insurance processing or patient registration is preferred.
• Familiarity with MyChart enrollment and appointment scheduling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, collect co-pays and complete visit preparations.
• Assist with kiosk use and patient scheduling, pre-registration and MyChart enrollment.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure smooth checkout and patient flow.
• Perform patient registration, visit preparation, telephone triage and scheduling tasks.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information in systems.
• Support interpreter scheduling when needed.
