Job summary

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics in Issaquah is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join the Primary Care team. You will greet patients, check in, coordinate communications among staff, patients, and providers, and support scheduling and records via the Epic EMR system.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of administrative experience in a medical setting, and strong customer service and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in a medical facility preferred.
• Previous physician office, hospital or frontline customer contact experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette.
• Strong communication and ability to multi-task in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer and front office services to patients.
• Coordinate communications among staff, patients, and providers about patient check-in process.
• Collect records and ensure distribution to appropriate staff via the Epic EMR.
• Perform clerical, scheduling, and records activities in support of patients and staff.
