Job summary

Patient First is seeking a front desk associate at the Glen Allen center to support patient flow and service delivery. You will assist patients at the kiosk, register and direct them to care, and manage payments with accuracy while delivering warm, friendly service.

The role requires strong communication, basic typing, and the ability to multitask in a busy health-center environment; eligible for benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic typing skills and clear communication.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and the phone system.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours.

Responsibilities

• Help patients at the kiosk and escort those needing emergency care to the treatment area.
• Register patients accurately in the EMR and provide compassionate service.
• Verify demographic, health, insurance information and explain billing policies.
• Handle cash management duties and issue receipts for visits and supplies.
• Answer calls, distribute messages, and maintain filing and scanning of documents.
• Maintain work area, stock supplies, and attend scheduled staff meetings.
