Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients and the community. You will register patients, verify demographics and insurance, schedule appointments, and guide them through financial options with accuracy and empathy.

You will also handle admission paperwork, ensure correct charting, collect payments, and assist with referrals, MyChart access, and pre-certifications as needed, while maintaining strong customer service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient registration/healthcare preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Provide strong communication and excellent customer service by greeting patients respectfully.
• Schedule patients, route calls, and enter scheduling information accurately.
• Process admissions and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect patient payments and reconcile cash drawer at day end.
• Assist with referrals, MyChart scheduling, and authorizations as needed.
