Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health’s St. Francis Physician Services is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and the community. You will process registrations, verify demographics and insurance, schedule appointments, and explain financial options to patients.

Responsibilities include collecting payments, reconciling cash drawers, and assisting with referrals and pre-certifications as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required.

• Verify demographics and insurance information during registration.
• Explain financial options and collect patient payments.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary contact between patients and physician practices.
• Schedules appointments and enters scheduling data into the system.
• Verifies insurance and completes registration documentation.
• Collects patient liabilities and reconciles the cash drawer at day end.
• Assists with referrals, pre-certifications, and authorization processes.
