Bon Secours Mercy Health in Powdersville Primary Care is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and our community. The role includes patient registration, demographic verification, collecting insurance cards, and accurate charting.

Responsibilities also cover scheduling appointments, explaining financial options, processing admissions and referrals, collecting payments, and supporting multiple practice locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Prior healthcare or patient registration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and the community with professional, respectful communication.
• Schedule patients and enter information for scheduling into the computer.
• Process patient admissions and verify insurance as part of registration.
• Record demographics and insurance information accurately.
• Collect patient payments and reconcile cash drawer daily.
