Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics, operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), is seeking a Part-time Patient Services Representative to support patient registration, check-in and clinical tasks at our Eagan and Burnsville locations.

The role is 0.6 FTE, three days per week with rotating hours (7:00 AM–5:00 PM) and potential weekend shifts. You will greet patients, collect payments, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and coordinate communications with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID for incoming patients.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management systems.
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments.
• Chart preparation and management including preparing for outreach events.
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, employers and clinic staff.
• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties including handling calls, coordinating interpreters, and patient referrals.
