Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics, part of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), is hiring a Patient Services Representative for the Eden Prairie location. This full-time role includes patient registration, check-in, scheduling, and clinical support duties.

Hours vary with some evenings and weekends as part of rotating shifts. The position emphasizes accurate insurance documentation, strong communication with patients and staff, and adherence to healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Customer service experience required.
• Administrative or medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID for incoming patients.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management systems.
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments.
• Chart preparation and management including preparing for outreach events.
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, employers and clinic staff.
• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties which include: accepting, handling and transferring calls, coordination of interpreters for clinic appointments, and coordination of patient referrals.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.
