Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative to support front desk operations at the Eagan location. The role involves patient registration, insurance verification, and basic administrative tasks with shifts starting early morning and ending in the early afternoon.

The position is casual, located at Eagan Orthopedic Surgery Center, with a focus on customer service and accurate record keeping.

Formación

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
• Administrative or medical office experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and collect required insurance information.
• Verify patients' insurance is current in the system.
• Enter new or updated patient information from pre-op calls before surgery.
• Communicate courteously with patients' families and guests.
• Prepare patient charts and maintain waiting areas.
• Monitor the fax machine and incoming documents.
• Retrieve H&Ps for upcoming surgeries as needed.
• Assist with pre-operative patient calls as needed.
• Report any incidents per center policy.
• Support staff development and act as a preceptor when needed.
• Participate in continuing education to grow skills.
• Help manage costs with efficient use of center resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
