Qualifications

• Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and registers them, verifies insurance, collects co-pays and balances.
• Answers phones and schedules appointments.
• Coordinates scheduling of outside testing for patients.
• Serves as liaison between patient and practice.
• Back-up for scheduling and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Reviews Epic chart prior to appointments and ensures consents are current.
• Responds to medical record requests per protocol.
