Job summary

Kennedy Medical Group, Practice, PC seeks a Patient Services Associate II to enhance the patient experience by handling check-in/check-out, scheduling via EPIC, and processing pre-certifications for procedures. The role emphasizes courteous service and efficient patient flow.

Full-time schedule: Mon-Wed 8:30am-5pm, Thu 11:30am-8pm, Fri 8am-4:30pm, located at 333 Laurel Oak Road, Voorhees, NJ. Requires HS diploma and strong communication, data interpretation and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to communicate courteously with patients and/or visitors. Willingness to provide and support a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients and/or visitors.
• Ability to process and interpret data. Ability to multi task while managing a time sensitive workload.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Processes check in and/or check out, point of service activities and/or scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
• Obtains pre certifications and/or pre authorizations for procedures.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates patient and/or provider concerns as appropriate.
• Greet and interact with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
