Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff per Jefferson values.
• Processes check-in and check-out, point of service activities, and scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
• Obtains pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Maintains efficient flow of the practice and escalates patient or provider concerns as appropriate.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, in person or on the phone.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
