Job summary

The Patient Services Associate (PSA) II at Jefferson Health Plans enhances the patient/customer experience by courteously and professionally processing arrival and departure activities for visits. Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate courteously with patients/visitors and support a positive Jefferson Experience.
• Ability to process and interpret data and to multitask with a time-sensitive workload.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors and staff per Jefferson values.
• Processes check in/out and schedules patient appointments via EPIC.
• Obtains pre-certifications/pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates concerns as appropriate.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors professionally in person or on the phone.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements and regulatory standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
