Job summary

HealthPoint is seeking a Float Patient Services Representative I to support multiple clinic locations in Des Moines, WA. You will manage front desk activities, verify patient demographics and insurance, collect payments, and assist patients with registrations while delivering courteous service.

The role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to work across clinics on a rotating schedule, including occasional Saturdays. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and write basic correspondence.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook; EHR knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet clinic patients, families and visitors and check them in.
• Verify demographics and insurance; perform real time eligibility checks.
• Collect copays and past due balances; schedule follow-up appointments.
• Educate patients about services and financial assistance programs.
• Maintain accurate schedule and coordinate with the care team.
