Job summary

Neighborcare Health is seeking a Float Patient Services Representative to support front desk operations across Seattle area clinics and the Georgetown Contact Center. The role involves greeting patients, checking them in, scheduling and managing appointments, and assisting with population health initiatives.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a flexible float schedule across sites. Required are a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience; healthcare

Qualifications

• One (1) year of customer service experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families as they arrive in the clinic.
• Answer telephones, confirm appointments, and transfer calls as needed.
• Check in patients and collect updated information for the EHR.
• Assist with maintaining provider templates and appointment schedules.
• Keep waiting areas and front-desk organized.
• Prepare charts and accounts daily as applicable.
• Check insurance eligibility and scan insurance cards.
• Collect co-pays and close out cash drawer at day end.
• Provide registration forms and instructions to patients, assist as needed.
• Schedule walk-in patients for same-day appointments.
• Explain Neighborcare’s sliding scale policy to self-pay patients.
