Job summary

Community Health Care seeks a Patient Services Representative Floats to support multiple clinics in Pierce County. You will handle patient accounts, set up payment plans, and answer billing questions while coordinating referrals to specialty care and community resources.

You may float between clinics as needed and ensure accurate documentation in EHR/EPM systems. High School Diploma with 1 year of medical front office experience is required; strong communication and organizational skills are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 1 year experience in medical front office or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience handling patient accounts and billing activities is preferred.
• Ability to respond to billing questions and assist patients with referrals and appointments.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient accounts and set up payment plans.
• Answer billing questions from patients, staff and vendors.
• Process referrals to specialty care, dieticians, radiology and community resources.
• Contact patients to schedule appointments and verify information in the system.
• Adjust copays and deductibles based on sliding fee level and review related paperwork.
• Float to other clinics as needed to cover coverage gaps.
• Ensure documentation in the EHR and EPM systems is accurate.
