Job summary

Eyehealth-Northwest- is seeking an engaging Optical Department receptionist to greet patients and guide them through visits with World Class service. Qualifications

• Must be computer literate with basic math skills.
• Knowledge of optical terminology and office procedures.

• Ability to work professionally with physicians, staff, vendors, and patients.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver World Class customer service with a welcoming demeanor.
• Answer questions about contact lens services, products, and fees; verify referrals and insurance.
• Coordinate patient flow in the contact lens department to minimize wait times.
• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries; notify patients when orders are ready.
• Maintain department supplies; process payments for contact lens products.
• Perform clerical tasks: organize orders, print and file slips, and maintain neat reception area.
• Protect patient information in accordance with HIPAA and company policy.
• Adhere to safety standards and rotate to various worksites as needed.
• Assist with insertion/removal instructions for contact lens care.
