Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of customer service experience.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests upon arrival and verify identity; provide information related to their visit.
• Complete check-in and check-out functions as directed.
• Confirm and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Complete patient registration as needed.
• Collect co-payments and other payments; post payments and reconcile cash.
• Process end-of-day cash drawer closing.
• Maintain waiting area cleanliness and comfort.
• Inform patients of delays or changes in appointment status.
• Schedule appointments as necessary.
• Float to other ICCs/departments as needed for PSRs in Immediate Care Clinics.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
