Qualifications

• 0–2 years of customer service experience.

• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients and guests, greeting them on arrival and providing visit information.
• Completes check-in/check-out functions as directed and updates demographic/insurance data.
• Completes patient registration as needed and obtains consents/authorizations.
• Collects co-payments and processes payments; posts payments and closes cash drawer at end of day.
• Maintains waiting area cleanliness and informs patients of delays or changes.
• Schedules appointments and may float to other clinics as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
