Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Center- St.Charles Convention Center & St.Peters Mexico Rd. in Missouri is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to support front desk operations for our outpatient physical therapy centers.

You will greet patients, register them, explain visit processes, and help ensure a smooth check-out experience. This full-time role includes mentorship, generous PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 Year Front Desk experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Location: SSM Health Rehabilitation Center- St.Charles Convention Center & St. Peters Mexico Rd.

Type of Employment: Full-time- Monday through Friday

Schedule

• Monday and Thursdays @ Mexico Road 7:30-6:30
• Tuesday and Friday @ Convention Center 7:30-12:30
• Wednesday @ Convention Center 7:00-6:00

Compensation: $18/hour- Increases based on experience.
