Job summary

Select Medical's outpatient physical therapy center in Lemay Ferry, MO is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage the front desk and patient flow. You will greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, and coordinate with insurers to ensure smooth visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 Year Front Desk experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Mon/Wed- 730-4:30

Tues/Thur- 9:30-6:30

Fri: Alt 7:30-4:30/9:30-6:30

Compensation:$18/hour- Increases based on experience.
