Job summary

Select Medical in Arnold, MO is hiring a Patient Service Specialist for a split, full-time position at our outpatient physical therapy center. The role focuses on greeting, scheduling, and coordinating with insurers to ensure a smooth visit for every patient.

You will handle front desk duties, collect co-pays, and assist with payer authorizations as part of a patient-centered team. Competitive schedule and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 Year Front Desk experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Compensation:$18/hour- Increases based on experience.
